The Mission of the Regional

The Regional Council regulates through due process the business of the St. Louis Region. The Council promotes the economic, educational, social, medical, cultural, and scientific development of the area and carries out their plans for development for the entire region while still maintaining the integrity, the autonomy and special characteristics of the communes and the rural communities with the St. Louis Region.

“The Regional Council of St. Louis has formed a partnership that is developing and profitable with the group 10,000 Problemes. Furthermore, the President of the group 10,000 Problemes alias Sidy DIOP is the organizer of the international festival RAPANDAR. It is known that each edition has been a great success to that point that today the festival is a part of our National Cultural Agenda. It has an international view which profits the region of St. Louis where its impact touches the youth of Senegal and in particular the youth of St. Louis.”
